We like to get all the information from you and give you a quote. You then know how much your project will take unless extra objective arise during the process or you decide to change the direction of the project.

Of course! Working along side our favorite CMS is a shopping cart software called Ubercart. It works seamlessly along side Drupal and follows the same standard which means it has all the same benefits. Just like Drupal it is highly customisable and many times what you need has already been done, so we can save you money. If it is not available, the system is customisable and we can build a solution without starting from scratch. Because we spend time adding to the community, we know the system inside and out and can develop a custom solution for whatever you need.
Some companies design their own CMS (Content Management System) to use for their client, but we support an open source project called Drupal. We've found that since thousands more people use the system then just our clients, any security leaks or bugs are found and fixed much quicker. Also, we can often save our clients time and money because their solution might already have been developed and donated by another person. Any updates, security fixes, and other bug fixes are emailed to us and we can then updated your site when needed. If we develop a solution from scratch, not only will we be reinventing the wheel, but we will have to pass those costs on to you.
Sometimes the greatest cost of a website isn't the initial charge, but it is the ongoing maintenance. Although ALL websites will need to be maintained, you can updated the content of your site by using what is called a CMS or Content Management System. This is a site where you login through an administration back-end and can update content such as news or meeting dates, etc. These websites normally cost more to initially build, but they save overtime because you do not need to contact your website designer to update information you need to change often. These still do require maintenance because they need security updates and bug fixes.
The more information you give us, the better prepared we are to give you an accurate quote. Most of the causes of going over budget and over time come from us not knowing enough about the project. If we are sprung with new information halfway through the project, it may cause a blowout in both budget and time. We understand the reason you come to us is for guidance, but if you can collect everything you know about the project including, text, images, logos, size requirements, print requirements, etc we can better organise your project.
By knowing your estimated budget we are better prepared to put together a better, more accurate plan. Obviously the higher the budget the more flexibility we have to include photography, illustration, greater resources, etc, but, that does not mean we cannot complete your project within your budget. We can normally offer different solutions for you to choose from which will allow you to fall within your budget but still get the quality you want. If you are looking for a solution with full photography, illustration, completed on a short time frame, your costs might be much higher then if you have your own photography, or have a fairly complete idea of what you want ahead of time. The two quotes on the same project could be miles apart, which means one of those people wouldn't be happy, But if we have an expected budget ahead of time, along with an in-depth proposal, we can come up with the best solution for both clients.
